A few things about me

Nice to meet you, my name is Amit Cohen

The owner and head designer of Studio 972, which has offices in Tel Aviv, Haifa, and soon in California. In 2005, when I was 17, I started out by making flash designs for advertising companies. I quickly realized that I was going to be a designer for the rest of my life. Along the way, I took all kinds of classes, asked a lot of questions, and did a lot of research, but mostly I taught myself how to learn on my own, because in my line of work, there are always new techniques, ways of working, and ways for me to get better. So, after years of working with and training many designers and launching many startups and products, I’m happy to bring you a variety of enrichment programs so that you, can become a top designer. Are you ready to start the journey

A few things about the studio

So the studio is me and I am the studio. I didn’t just call it Studio 972 (the prefix of Israel) because the country’s values, such as creativity, innovation, and courage, may have rubbed off on me a little bit.

The Israelis’ audacity and everything else that makes them Israeli (but the beautiful side of it, right?!:-) )

When I started my career as a designer, it was clear to me that I wanted to go far. My goal was always to leave a mark and not to be like everybody else, so my main message was: Be unique, be unicorn. The road taught me that being different attracts a lot of fire, but also a lot of interest, and I quickly started designing for big companies, websites, apps, brands, systems, animations and so on.

Along the way, I taught more and more designers who were part of Studio 972’s DNA, or rather, my DNA. That’s when I realized how important it is to teach the designers everything I’ve learned on the road, including how I think, how I make decisions, the techniques I use, and the path I take. A “simple” design for one that leaves one big “wow” behind. I decided to turn all of my knowledge into a unique formula that will help you become great designers because the market needs it
